that depends on what your goals are. Do you need coverage to age 100 (whole life) or does your life insurance need span only a certain number of years? For instance to last until your kids graduate college (10-20 year term) or a mortgage if you just got a new house (30 year term). Maybe
the birth or planned birth of a new child (20-25 year term life).
