: I have 3 boys with Sickel Cell. My husband and I can not get insurance for them. Because, they were born with it. If, we had insurance on them before they were diagnose with sickel cell it would be find. My husband and i have life insurance and I was just diagnose of having lupus AFTER. The insurance compant can not drop me. The best thing to do is do what my husband and I have done open a Money market with a high yeild and interest account and save about $5000 dollars let it sit as long as he is living for burial cost. NO insurance is going to insure a person that already has a illness.
