hello,
my mum was recently diagnosed with motor neuron disease too :( There are some pretty good web sites if you do a google search, that have got some pretty useful stuff in them. I think it's pretty hard to tell how things will progress, and it's easier to not think about the future too much, although you obviously will do at times.
